Day 1:After breakfast, take a bus toChengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding,one of the important centers in China for the captive conservation of giant pandas. Take an afternoon bus back to Chengdu and visit theWuhou Temple (Zhuge Liang Memorial Hall), the Martial Marquis of Shu in the Three Kingdoms.(L)
 
Day 2:This morning, take bus to the Dujiangyan Water Project; it is long-established water conservation works which contributed by Libing (a local official of Sichuan Province at that time) with his son to control the flooding of the River. In the afternoon, tour the Dufu Thatched Cottage, a home of a famous poet in Tang Dynasty more than a thousand years ago. (L)
